General Parenting Needs:
Nearly everything we do in this world requires some form of training, certificate, or degree - except becoming a parent. And yet parenting likely has the biggest impact on the health of society. We’d like to help support you in navigating the difficult, yet tremendously important, task of PARENTING. There is much more research out there than ever before about best parenting practices and we would be happy to share them with you and coach you through any problems you are having with your children. We understand this is not an easy job and want you to have a safe space where you feel free to express your human feelings and receive the support you need for yourself which will ultimately serve your whole family.
Eating Disorder Parenting Needs:
Being the parent of child with an eating disorder is one of the most stressful experiences a parent can go through - whether that child is a minor or an adult. We want to help support you through this experience and provide you with the best ways to be there for your child to achieve effective results. It is a complicated process - as food is involved (and thus issues of control)- but we have experts on staff in this area and have helped many families through this difficult terrain.

Anxiety Parenting Needs:
Whether your child has OCD, Phobias, School Refusal, or Trauma, we are here for you in explaining the best methods to provide support to your child. We will explain why certain methods are better than others based on the research and we will provide you a non-judgemental space to express your difficulties along this journey.
Depression, Self-harm, and Suicidal Parenting Needs:
Hearing that your child is depressed, wishes he/she/they were not alive, or that they have engaged in harming themselves when distressed, is desperately painful. Most parents would do anything to take this pain away from their child and cannot fathom a life without their child. And yet most parents feel helpless regarding what to do. We have worked with countless families in similar situations and want to empower you with the skills and reassurance in handling this family crisis. We hope that you trust us when we recommend that you participate in your own therapy sessions separate from your child’s sessions. Dealing with such a stressful experience is always activating for a parent, and thus having your own space to both process this stress, and learn skills on how to best respond, is essential. We understand that parenting takes a lot of time and money, and adding this extra step of working in your own therapy doubles the cost. But we would be doing you a dis-service if we didn’t make this recommendation. In the long run, it is worth it. You are already spending so much time dealing with the stress in general. Let’s help your child want to live again.
Co-Parenting Needs:
Parenting while married is tough enough, so you can imagine that parenting while separated or divorced will be even tougher. But hopefully, with time, the decision to separate will serve your child for the good. Let us help you make this transition most healthily for you and your children.
